SASY (Supplied Air Snorkeling for Youth)

Kids 5-10

Just for Kids What is it? Take a flotation vest, hook up a small scuba tank, a regulator and a pressure gauge, add children and instant fun!! The vest cannot be inflated or deflated, thereby allowing the child to simulate scuba diving on the surface.

SASY is easier than snorkeling as the child is breathing air from a tank with little chance of water entering the mouth.

INTRODUCTORY SCUBA DIVE

Kids 10 & Up

Just for Kids View a short video, and then we take you in our pool for some underwater fun. You will learn safety and the basics of scuba diving under the complete care of one of our certified PADI instructors. The pool session lasts about an hour. Once successfully completed, you may join mom and dad and your PADI instructor on a dive from our boat.

Introductory Scuba Dive with Turtles or at Molokini Crater


JUNIOR CERTIFICATION

Ages 10 & Up

Just for Kids Get certified on Maui in clear warm water. Includes classroom work, all equipment, books or CD Rom, pool session, two dives from the beach and your last two dives off our boat. Private and semi-private lessons only.

Snorkeling for Kids Everything included, wetsuit, dry snorkel, breakfast and lots of fun.

The Scuba Shack is an owner operated full service dive shop in Kihei, Maui (Hawaii) offering chartered boat dives to Molokini and other popular destinations on Maui's fastest dive boat. Scuba Shack Maui offers private charters, night dives, PADI instruction, NITROX, UW photography equipment and assistance, and the best staff on the island. The Scuba Shack's boat is called "What's the Scoop", and is 40 ft in length, powered by twin turbo diesel engines and Jet out drives (no propellers).
